A 13-16 Year-Olds Football Tournament On 26th July at Frame2 Sports Centre Bradford.

The football tournament will kick off 10.30am. With be around 22 teams made up of youngsters from different wards of Bradford District. The Lord Mayor and other representatives from the Bradford Council and voluntary services will be attending as spectators and to present the trophies.

Organised by the Bangladeshi Community Association Bradford, the tournament is part of the ‘Communities Together’ project supported by Bradford Council to promote community cohesion and social inclusion across the district and will allow young people to play competitive football against each other in a friendly environment.

The entry fee is £20 per team and the deadline to return the entry form is 16th July 2010.

Spaces are limited and BCAB would like to see more teams from the Bradford district football clubs participating.

‘Communities Together’ is formed by 8 different frontline organisations, led by COEMO to promote cohesion between the people of all religions and races. Our purpose is to bring different communities together through these events to create interaction between them which will lead to more understanding of each others beliefs and traditions.
