AR Rahman in “Superheavy” album with Mick Jagger

Oscar winner AR Rahman has been recruited along with a host of stars to create a multi-generational, multi-cultural super-group “Superheavy” for Rolling Stone Mick Jagger’s next album.

Due this September the album also features collaborators  Dave Stewart, Damian Marley and Joss Stone. The track with Rahman “Satyameva Jayate” has been released as the second single from the upcoming album features Jagger singing in sanscrit and represents the diversity of styles and influences on the forthcoming album which range from reggae to ballads.
