Biman launches non-stop London-Dhaka flights

Biman has launched both a brand-new livery for its aircraft and the first non-stop flights between London and Dhaka filling the gap that has existed since  the ceasing of a service formerly run by British Airways until March 2009.

Flights will be three times a week  in the new Boeing 777-200ER 323 seat aircraft.

The new look for Biman includes logo and livery for the planes and new saris as uniform for flight and ground staff and was inaugurated on Tuesday by PM Sheikh Hasina who additionally asked Biman to resume flight to New York, which have been suspended since July 2006.
