We left Heathrow at 5.30 (on the 23rd) with Bangladesh airlines on a 10 hour direct flight to Dhaka arriving on time. We got picked up by Clemon and after a 2 and hour journey from airport to Dhaka club guest house which was a difficult ten miles with so much traffic unbelievable. Having arrived at dhaka club we were taken to a press conference with the minister for social welfare and the whole media world. It was great. Although we were hungry tired and sweaty in need of sleep and rest. Then we checked into the guest house and while the rest of the group rested Phil and I had to meet the Clemon team for a briefing. We then went to Nandos for dinner followed by a visit to the countries biggest shopping mall Bashundara City.
The evening was also used for swimming and preparing the bikes.
(Today) We all had a decent sleep and now after much TV fanfare we have started the Dhaka city rally in humungous traffic, fumes & heat
