This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the
team of OCL in the role of Human Resources Administrator.
You will be the key contact for Human Resources within the organisation whilst undertaking administration tasks including the
production of employment correspondence and payroll administration.

Monthly tasks will include updating sickness records, probationary
monitoring, pre-employment checks as well as coordinating incremental rises in pay.

You will assist the Head of Human Resources in setting up disciplinary
and grievance meetings and note taking along with playing a key role
in the administration, co-ordination and providing support for an
effective and timely recruitment and selection process.

Life in the role is never dull and you will have the opportunity to
undertake project work such as assisting in the revision and updating
of existing HR policies and procedures and job descriptions as well as
supporting the formulation of new HR policies and procedures.

Outreach work may also be required on occasions including attendance
at Careers Events and Jobs Fairs as well as attending CPD sessions
relevant to the role.

You must be a team player with an eye for detail, exceptional
organizational skills, along with the ability to manage your own time
and prioritise tasks.

You must have previous administration
experience, ideally but not essentially within Human Resources. In
addition you should also be IT literate with working knowledge of the
usual Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as
holding numeracy and literacy skills.

This position is flexible and can be worked up to 30 hours per week on
a flexible basis. Hours can be worked over three, four or five days if
required.

The role is paid at the National Living Wage which from the 1 st of April
2015 will be £7.85 per hour and for a 30 hour position would equate to
an annual salary of £12,278.
