Just Help Foundation Celebrates 4th Anniversary

“Happy Anniversary and well done!” say guests at Just Help Foundation 4th Anniversary Dinner.

Yesterday saw the 4th Anniversary Dinner of the Just Help Foundation which was attended by a host of business and community high flyers and well-wishers. The event was held at the Village Hotel Hyde where a long roster of distinguished speakers from the UK and Bangladesh gave their support for the good work being done in heath and education; commending the passion and commitment of founder Mizanur Rahman and his volunteers.

Speakers such as Iqbal Ahmed of Seamark, Anwar Choudhury former British High Commissioner, Bangladesh and Elias Mollah MP, Bangladesh and Councillors Jim Fitzpatrick from Tameside, Luthfur Rahman from Manchester and others also spoke eloquently of the importance of the connections between the north-west and the UK with Bangladesh and the benefits to both countries of the historical and emotional ties between them. They commented on the ways in which Bangladeshis are now true a part of Britain’s life, business and culture and have incidentally actually changed the dining habits of an entire nation in a way no previous immigrant community has achieved.

The Speeches were followed by dinner and Entertainment in the form of Traditional Dance and the event finished with a charity raffle.
