the teams of Oldham Community Leisure Limited in the role of
Leisure Attendant. Successful candidates should have exceptional
customer care skills and an infectious enthusiasm to provide the
best possible standards of service to the Oldham community. The
Trust’s mission is “A Community More Active, More Often”, and the
post of Leisure Attendant is a key role in achieving this.
The role of the Leisure Attendant is to undertake pool supervision,
the safe erection and dismantling of sports equipment, dealing with
customers, cash handling, reception duties, cleaning and
housekeeping and general control of facilities and activities to a
high level of customer satisfaction. You will oversee the general
safety of the public and the facilities.
It is desirable that individuals should hold a current NARS or RLSS
Pool Lifeguard qualification but is not essential as training can be
provided. However, to achieve this qualification the ability to be
able to swim will be required.
The role of Leisure Attendant will occasionally require flexibility to
work across various units and the place of work may be varied from
time to time.

Chadderton Wellbeing Centre
Oldham Sports Centre
