The opportunity has arisen for individuals to undertake a NARS Pool Lifeguard Qualification on 19th to 24th of July 2010 and once qualified the individual will hold a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
Once qualified the individual will then be eligible to apply for Leisure Attendant vacancies which arise within OCLL.
Work as a Leisure Attendant will include pool supervision, the safe erection and dismantling of sports equipment, dealing with customers, cash handling, bookings and admissions, cleaning and housekeeping and general control of facilities and activities to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will oversee the general safety of the public and the facilities.
Once employed OCLL will provide a full uniform and stand the cost of any pre-employment checks. The rate of pay for a qualified Leisure Attendant is £6.36 per hour.
Please note that completion of the course does not guarantee employment within OCLL.
The cost of the course is £380, a grant of (£200) is available to those who meet the criteria and successfully pass the course. For further information on assisted grant fund please contact S.
