The opportunity has arisen for individuals to undertake a NARS Pool Lifeguard Qualification on 21st to 26th of February 2011 and once qualified the individual will hold a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
Once qualified the individual will then be eligible to apply for Leisure Attendant vacancies which arise within OCLL.
Work as a Leisure Attendant will include pool supervision, the safe erection and dismantling of sports equipment, dealing with customers, cash handling, bookings and admissions, cleaning and housekeeping and general control of facilities and activities to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will oversee the general safety of the public and the facilities.
The cost of the course is £380, a grant of (£200) is available to those who meet the criteria and successfully pass the course.
