OCL Band 7, £20,250 – £21,501 per annum
Update – The closing date for this post is Tues, 31st of March 2015.
Oldham Community Leisure is a Trust that is going places.
Having recently won the contract to manage the Council’s 11 Leisure
Facilities for the next 15 years, we enjoy a fantastic relationship with the Council which is reflected in the fact we are currently negotiating the transfer of even more of their services and facilities
to our existing portfolio. The Council is funding two brand new state of the art facilities in Oldham and Royton which are due online in autumn next year, and we are working in partnership with the local
football club to invest in a 150 station fitness facility within their brand new stand for early 2015.
This Investors in People organisation is looking to recruit a IT Support Engineer who will monitor and maintain the OCL computer system but also support the management of our hosted OCL network.
We are looking for the successful person to have an IT related qualification but also demonstrable experience of supporting Microsoft networks. You must have analytical skills and the ability
to solve problems and with all that is happening within OCL, experience of project management and implementation is also important.
This will not be a desk bound job you will be hands on and out supporting our sites and staff. You will be leading ideas on the development of our IT systems and structure especially our leisure
management system. You will be a key member of a fast moving organisation who will be investing heavily into its IT Infrastructure over the next 24 months.
The post attracts free parking, free use of the facilities and a subsidised cafeteria, along with access to the company pension scheme.
If you are up for the challenge and would like an application pack please email hr at ocl
