This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at Oldham Community Leisure in the role of Modern Apprentice for a twelve month period to earn whilst they learn.
This position will give the right candidate the opportunity to work in a busy leisure environment and gain extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources and Financial Administration.
Individuals will be supported to achieve a National Vocational Qualification at Level 2 or 3, relevant key skills and also undergo in-house training. The current training providers are a government funded organisation currently accessing 16 – 24 year old funding to deliver Apprenticeships. If you are aged 25 or above you can apply but you will be liable to cover the costs of the training. Please note that funding is not available for individuals who already have a graduate level qualification.
<>Duties of the role will include data input and retrieval via the Sage system and manual records, producing letters and contracts of employment, producing minutes of meeting, recruitment administration, collating paperwork as well as general office duties such as photocopying, filing and shredding.
You must have Maths and English GCSE’s grade A-C, along with an excellent eye for detail with good numeracy and literacy skills. Good organizational and communication skills are also required. In addition you should also be IT literate with working knowledge of the usual Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Hours of work tend to be Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm but can be worked flexibly within normal office hours.
The rate of pay for the role is £98.05 per week.
This is a consolidated rate of pay and covers all hours worked.
