The opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake a Level 2 Exercise to Music Qualification on 16th to 18th of July 2010 at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre and once qualified the individual will hold a Nationally Recognised Central YMCA Qualification.

The course consists of completion of a work book prior to attending the course, a multiple choice exam, attendance at the three day practical course and a further practical observation.

Once qualified the individual will then be eligible to apply for Casual Exercise Class Instructor vacancies which arise within OCLL.

Work as an Exercise Class Instructor will include teaching various group exercise classes in a professional, safe manner at various OCL sites.

The Instructor will be responsible for safe and enthusiastic instruction of the sessions, general control of equipment, the recording of class attendance, general customer care and overseeing the general safety of the public and facilities.

OCL are able to offer the course at a reduced rate of £500, which is payable by the individual. Full payment must be received prior to the course manual being issued and the individual being accepted on to the course. Individuals should be aware of the work required to complete the course prior to signing up.

A previous Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent will be helpful in completing this course.

Once employed OCLL will stand the cost of any pre-employment checks. The rate of pay for a qualified Exercise Class Instructor is £17.70 per hour.
