The role of the Team Leader is to oversee and ensure the effective day-to-day running of the shift by providing supervision of staff and resources and meeting customer and stakeholder aspirations.

As part of your role you will have key responsibility for ensuring that responsibilities for the site overall are met by the team. These responsibilities may be varied from time to time and will continually reflect the needs of the business.

It is desirable that individuals should hold a current NARS or RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification but is not essential as training can be provided. However, to achieve this qualification the ability to be able to swim will be required. Previous managerial experience is also desirable.

The role of Team Leader will occasionally require flexibility to work across various units and the place of work may be varied from time to time.

The hours of work will include regular evening and weekend work at times to reflect the requirements of the business and at present there are vacancies for full and/or part time contracts available.

The salary for the role is OCL Band 6, points 17 – 19 which equates to an annual salary of £18,269 rising incrementally to £19,333 for a 40 hour position. This is a consolidated rate of pay and covers all hours worked.
